Model Rocketry Workshop - Convergence 2010 - Ganpat University - Mehsana

• Every year Ganpat University Celebrates Technical Event. It's called "Convergence".

• Convergence is one of the unique national Event and platform for Engg. students where they shows their skills, learn new things and also participate in various workshops.

• This year also Program was organised by Ganpat university on 12th March to 13th March 2010.

• Model Rocketry Wokshop was organised for Engg. students. There were 44 Participants from different Engineering colleges from all over the India.

• They were made the Single stage model rocket and also launched them.

• Prof. H. A. Patel - Prof. Electronics and Communication Engineering was Lauched the First Single Stage Model Rocket.

Model Rocketry Workshop - IIT - Kanpur Golden Jubilee Celebration 26 - 27 February 2010

• Indina Institute of Technology Kanpur Celebrates its Golden Jubilee from August 2009 to December 2010.

• As a part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the Department of Aerospace Engineering will be organised its Departmental Day, a two day programme, on 26th & 27th of February, 2010.

• Objectives of the Departmental Day is to nurture and showcase the technical talents of the students of Aerospace Engineering across the country.

• The Departmental Day encompasses a series of events which include Technical Competitions, Workshops and Lectures by Eminent personalities in the field.

• Model Rocketry workshop was conducted as part of the event Departmental Day on 27th February 2010.

• There were 100 participants from different Aerospace Engineering colleges from all over the India.

• They were made the Single stage model rocket and also launched them.

• Dr. S Kamle - Professor & Head of Aerospace Engineering was Lauched the First Single Stage Model Rocket.

• Mr. Krishna Kumar - Director, DIT, Dr. Ghosh - IIT, Kanpur, Mr. J.K. Parameshwaran, Director - Technical, Brahma Aviation and Mr. S.L. Mukherji, Bhopal were present during the Launching in the Launching field.
