• In January 2004, 2nd Vikram Sarabhai Model Rocket Competition was organized at a State Level.
• 178 Participants from various places of Gujarat like Visnagar, Vadodara, Anand, Gandhinagar, Dehgam, Ahmedabad, etc took part in the competition.
• That was inaugurated by Ms. Mrinalini Sarabhai, Director Darpana Academy for Performing Arts, Ahmedabad and prize distribution was done by Dr. N.V. Vasani, Vice - Chancellor of Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
