• First time in India, Mr. Pratham Ambla was introduced and instrumental in organizing the 1st Vikram Sarabhai Model Rocket Competition in 2003, which was overwhelmed by 215 participants from various schools and organization of Ahmedabad by taking part in the competition.
• That was inaugurated by Dr. K.N. Shankara, Director of Space Application Centre (SAC) Ahmedabad and prize distribution was done by Mrs. Mrinalini Sarabhai, Director Darpana Academy for Performing Arts, Ahmedabad.
• The Competition was categorized in three groups. Group-1 was for the students of standard 5 to 7. Group-2 was for the students of standard 8 to 12 and Group-3 was for collage students,
B. Ed. Students, teachers, lectures, science centers coordinators etc.,
• Prize were given according to the height achieved by Model Rockets.
