For the first time in the history of model rocketry (space modelling), Mr. Prathamsinh Ambla participated in the World Space Modeling Championship as the only competitor from India.
Mr. Prathamsinh Ambla was the first Indian to represent the country in September 2004.
He participated in the 15th World Space Modeling Championship for seniors and juniors held in Poland, where there were 19 participating countries, including India.
In the senior category, he competed in the S1B (Altitude Tracking) event, finishing 10th in the team category and 24th in the individual category.
Notably, he was the youngest competitor in the senior category.
